Where is your home facility? We are located inside Fun Station USA. We have unlimited use of the rides, arcade games, lazer tag, batting cages and basketball courts. Campers are given game cards for unlimited use of the arcade games - no spending money is necessary! Quite simply, no camp has the home facility that we have at our disposal on a regular basis - no matter the weather! In addition, we take 3-4 off-campus trips per week. We go to our swimming pool each Monday - a private swimming pool located about 15 minutes away. We also take take 3-4 off-campus trips per week. Our HOME facility has: All at no extra charge!

Tell me about your campWidely renowned as a leader in children's entertainment and having hosted many camps during the past 30+ years; we are now in our 12th summer of conducting our very own summer camp. Starting in 2012; our camp has quickly grown from 24 children that first year to well over 300 this past summer. We truly have become Staten Island's Fastest Growing Camp.
-
What is your camp philosophy? We believe the idea of summer camp. We believe that each child deserves to have a fun, exciting summer after working hard during the school year. Camp is a great way to make friends and learn better socialization skills. We at FSDC believe in organizing a safe and fun summer camp experience.
-
What are the hours of the camp and what are extended hours?Camp goes from 9:00 AM until 3:30 PM. However, parents can drop off as early as 7:00 AM for AM extended hours. In the afternoon, camp ends at 3:30 PM but pick-ups go until 6:00 PM. Unlike other camps, we don't charge for extended hours.
-
How does your camp handle bullying? We have a zero tolerance policy on bullying. At our parent orientation and camper orientation on the first day we spend much time addressing bullying. In the event it happens; a child will be warned. In the event it happens a second time the child will be expelled from camp without a refund. Our camp believes that every child is entitled to a fun and safe summer - No Exceptions!
-
How does your camp communicate with parents? We feel at FSDC that parent communication is on of our strengths. During the summer, each Friday we hand out a "Camp Newsletter" which details the day to day plans for the upcoming week. In addition, our camp uses the "Remindapp" which many schools use. On this app, we can send various text message reminders of anything upcoming or last minute changes. We believe that there should never be any surprises!

What makes your camp unique? This is one of the questions we get the most. Many say our home facility is unique. Many camps are outdoors, in schools or on large fields. Our home facility is a field trip for many camps - arcade games, rides, 2 basketball courts, lazer tag etc...Despite this, we feel our trip schedule makes us most unique. We do the trips that most camps go on: movies, bowling, sports games but we also go on trips that no one else goes on such as Keansburg Water Park, Nickelodeon Universe, Medieval Times, Chelsea Piers, Splashplex, WildWater Rapids, Jenkinson's Boardwalk just to name a few. Everyday is unique and exciting for our campers! This is one of the questions we get the most. Many say our home facility is unique. Many camps are outdoors, in schools or on large fields.
